The 2010 Golf Classic will feature:
- 14 holes of golf
- A celebrity on each team
- Hole-in-One and contest prizes
- "Taste of the Jungle" - Cincinnati's finest restaurants serving food on the course
- "Welcome to the Jungle" Post Play party and auction.
Overview:
The Marvin Lewis Golf Classic, presented by Cincinnati Bell, is the largest fundraiser for the Marvin Lewis Community Fund (MLCF). All proceeds from the weekend's festivities do directly to our ongoing outreach programs primarily focused on education.
Golf
Celebrity guests including former and current Bengals as well as local and national celebrities team up with sponsors and partners for an enjoyable day of golf. A full field of 244 golfers, compete in various contests such as Hole-in-One, Longest Drive and Closest-to-the-Pin. Prizes are awarded to the top three teams, the last place team and the winners of the contest.
VIP Pre-Party
The VIP Pre-Party kicks off the weekend on Saturday night at Cadillac Ranch downtown. Sponsors, partners and celebrities gather for a night of good food, drinks and conversation while raising money for the MLCF. The party features a unique live auction, silent auction and chinese raffle.
"Welcome to our Jungle" post play party and auction
The "Welcome to our Jungle” post-play party and auction features food compliments of Vonderhaar’s Catering, a live and silent auction, live entertainment and the scholarship check presentations. Auction items donated by sponsors and supporters include: Bengals memorabilia, golf equipment and accessories, travel packages, spa packages, shopping sprees, and many other unique non-perishable items.
"The Taste of the Jungle ”
Representatives from Cincinnati’s finest restaurants are placed throughout the course to serve appetizer portions of their signature foods. Listed below are all of the participating restaurants to date.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
Sponsorship packages from $1,000 to $25,000 are available.
Tailgate Breakfast Sponsor: $15,000
One golf foursome (4 playing spots) in Saturday practice round, eight (8) invitations to the VIP Pre-Party, one golf foursome (3 playing spots), six (6) addiditonal invitations to the "Welcome to our Jungle" party & auction, logo on: all Tailgate Breakfast signage, partner thank you banner, all golf carts, volunteer shirts and program book. You will also recieve three (3) items autographed by Coach Lewis. .
"Nine Hole" Course Sponsor: $10,000
Six (6) invitations to the VIP Pre-Party, one golf foursome (3 playing spots), six (6) additional invitations to the "Welcome to our Jungle" party & auction, logo on: all hole signs on your course, partner thank you banner, all golf carts, volunteer shirts and program book. You will also recieve three (3) items autographed by Coach Lewis.
Birdie Sponsor: $5,000
Four (4) invitations to the VIP Pre Party, one golf foursome (3 playing spots), six (6) additional invitations to the "Welcome to our Jungle" party & auction, logo on: partner thank you banner and name included in the program book.
One golf spot: $1,500
Putting Green/Driving Range Sponsor: $1,000
Logo on putting green/range signage and name included in program.
Cart Sponsor: $1,000
Logo on all golf carts and name included in program.
Mulligan Sponsor: $1,000
Logo on all mulligans and name included in program.
Rule Sheet Sponsor: $1,000
Logo on all rule sheets and name included in program.
Hole Sponsor: $1,000
Logo on one hole sign and name included in program.
All foursomes include a celebrity guest; Practice Round foursomes are not garunteed a celebrity guest (depends on availability of out of town guests).
